Introducing the theme for Press Print Party 2026: Codex.
A codex carries knowledge through pages, gathering ideas, practices, and stories worth keeping. Independent publishing carries knowledge in much the same way, through books, conversations, shared practices, and the networks that keep them moving. For PPP 2026, Codex becomes a point of departure to reflect on how independent publishing continues, grows, and passes knowledge from one chapter to the next.
Beyond the art book fair itself, PPP extends into a wider program of encounters and exchanges through PPProgram.
A collaborative publication where artists and writers contribute using different printing techniques, creating a collective codex of the independent publishing community.
Talks, workshops, and book presentations exploring what it takes to sustain a creative practice in independent publishing.
A dedicated space for families and children to discover and engage with print culture through hands-on activities.
